By booking an appointment with C & E Notary, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Identification Requirements
All signers must present a valid, government-issued photo ID at the time of notarization. Acceptable forms of ID must meet Colorado notary requirements.
Acceptable Identification Examples
U.S. Driver's License/State ID Card: Current or expired within the last year.
U.S. Passport: Issued by the U.S. Department of State.
U.S. Military ID: Including Common Access Cards (CAC).
Permanent Resident Card: (Green Card).
Foreign Passport:
Government IDs: Issued by state, county, or local governments.
Inmate ID: From state or federal corrections, if incarcerated
If you do not have an ID you may bring a credible witness: Someone who you know personally, is an impatial party, has an acceptable form of ID.
Appointments that cannot be completed due to missing, expired, or invalid identification will require rescheduling and are subject to an additional $15 travel fee.
2. Appointment Location
Appointments must take place at an open, public business within a 7-mile radius of 1400 S Havana St, Aurora, CO 80012, unless otherwise agreed upon.
C & E Notary reserves the right to request a change in meeting location for safety, accessibility, or legality reasons. We will try our best to find a location as close as possible to the intended meeting location.
3. Fees & Payments
The standard $50 appointment fee includes one notarization and travel.
Each additional notarization or page is $15 per page and must be booked as a separate “Additional Page” appointment.
All fees must be paid in advance at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.
4. Additional Pages & Add-On Appointments
If your documents require multiple notarized pages, you must book one “Additional Page” appointment per page.
Additional Page appointments must be scheduled immediately following your primary mobile notary appointment to ensure adequate time.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
Appointments may be canceled up to 30 minutes prior to the scheduled time.
Cancellations made within 30 minutes of the appointment may have a $15 travel fee deducted from the refund.
6. Rescheduling
Appointments may be rescheduled based on availability up to 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment.
Rescheduling due to customer-related issues (including lack of valid ID or notifying after 30 minute grace period) will incur a $15 additional travel fee.
7. Document Review & Legal Advice
C & E Notary does not provide legal advice or review documents for accuracy or completeness.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure all documents are complete and ready for notarization at the time of the appointment.
8. Right to Refuse Service
C & E Notary reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if:
Proper identification is not provided
The signer appears unwilling, unaware, or under duress
The document is incomplete or prohibited by law
The environment is unsafe or inappropriate
10. Agreement
By booking an appointment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
